BEN BORSELLINO
Owner - Certified Personal Trainer - Instructor
Ben has over 15 years experience in the fitness industry. Ben is an AFAA certified personal trainer and former bodybuilder. His expertise ranges from general weight loss, specialized athletics training, bodybuilding, as well as rehabiltiation, prenatal, and senior citizen fitness. He began his career in 2004 as one of California's top personal trainers at Bally Total Fitness, one of the largest gyms in the country. In less than five years with Bally Total Fitness, Ben moved up from personal trainer to Fitness Manager, supervising 20 personal trainers at two different clubs.
In 2015, Ben realized his passion was no longer in general gym management, but more so in specialized personal training. He felt he could help more people achieve their individual results by solely focusing on one-on-one personal training, small group training, and customized fitness classes. Ben decided to venture out on his own and open Martinez Athletic Club.
Ben enjoys spending time in the Martinez community. Ben is involved in downtown Martinez events, such as street fairs, wine strolls, and beer crawls. He has also participated in fundraisers for the Boys and Girls Club as well as various Alhambra High School sports teams. In his spare time, he enjoys watching football with his sons, Beau and Luke.
