Yoga Class Descriptions
Cardi-Yoga: Enjoy the flow and holds of Vinyasa but at a faster pace, transitioning from one pose to another to keep your heart pumping and burning those calories.
Strength Training Yoga: More core strengthening ab workouts, leg and arm muscle building. Expect to wake up Saturday to see muscle definitions where you haven't seen any before. Make sure to bring lots of water to stay hydrated so you're not too sore this weekend.
What's Up Yoga - Inversion Flow: During this practice venture into all inverted postures reversing the blood flow from being on our feet all day. This helps rebuild strength and energy from a long work week. Assistance is available to beginners. Everyone will make it upside down in this class.
Yoga Tea Party: Join this 75 minute event honoring our National Yoga Awareness Month for our final Friday. The class will begin with a guided meditation practice to raise our vibrational frequencies, a gentle yoga flow full of deep stretches to heal our bodies, and will end with tea and mingling.
Prenatal Yoga: Prenatal yoga focuses on poses for pregnant women, in order to increase strength and flexibility. It also helps pregnant women to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for easier and more comfortable labor. Open to the community for FREE.
Yoga Heart: The Science of the body, the wisdom and heart of yoga. Through mindful heartfel practice, we gradually embody the essence of yoga.

I am always told that I have a soothing voice, enhancing the stress-relieving benefits of a complete yoga practice. I completed my 250-hour Vinyasa yoga teacher training through the Aura Wellness Center directed by Dr. Paul Jerard, offered 50 additional credits for surpassing the expectations of a novice. Proving my passion to perfect my abilities. Yoga has been a major part of my life, working its way into the lives of those around me who have never considered the practice before. It has been a part of my lifestyle for over 5 years now. Yoga has given me the opportunity to rebirth into a newer refreshing, healthier, mindful and most positive life. I am so grateful.
About Mia
Mia brings to her classes 17 years of personal yoga practice and study coupled with 15 years of teaching experience. Raised on Maui and having returned in 2010 after 20 years in the Bay Area, Mia’s motto is “the Science of Body, the Wisdom and Heart of Yoga.” This came about by blending her loves of two disciplines: a Master of Science degree in Human Movement and Kinesiology with Yogic Science and Philosophy.
Mia attained Master Yoga Teacher status through Yoga Heart Meditative Movement in the Kriya Yoga tradition. In addition she became a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Through thoughtful themes, Mia weaves these disciplines together to create an experience of total inner and outer knowledge and soulful evolution; in essence discovering our potential in both the physical and non-physical planes and learning to live authentically in their coexistence.
